    Default xkey

looking at getting a xkey but want to know few things about it first

are they easy to use? , do you have to remove cfw from your dvd drive?

would you recommend over dvd discs?

is it safer to use online with games?

what is price of them ?

anyone have one and are they any good ?

is it worth buying and ditching dvd discs?

are they easy to use? Yes, real simple to use no issues what so, ever with the xkey I have
do you have to remove cfw from your dvd drive? No, just have your dvd drive updated to latest cfw and put the necessary files on xkey card

would you recommend over dvd discs? yes, saves money on the long run

is it safer to use online with games? so far so good, but there's always a possibility of ban

what is price of them ? I bought mine around $100 couple years back so.. not sure of prices now but check online (see if there are stores or sites in your country selling)
anyone have one and are they any good ?

is it worth buying and ditching dvd discs? As I suggested above.. yes

Like above they are the dogs nuts and personally i think the future scene for the xbox one is ODD emulators. One thing i would add is as it is all hdd based swapping games, putting games on your xbox is just a lot more simple. Its expensive to do ought right but pays for its self soon i got mine from http://www.teensy.co.uk for £70 and that was with the remote about a year ago also its there official UK retailer.

just a heads up one thing that got me for a good few hours was the file fcrt_enc.bin was called fcrt_enc.bin.bin but the second extension was hidden so when i looked at it it was fcrt_enc.bin, it was only visible when viewing hidden extensions just thought i would give you a heads up on that as its a real pain to trouble shoot.

ever since I got xkey I havent burnt single disk on x360(no more coasters , no more waiting 40 minutes for disk burn), its easy to use, online safe (2years now 4 me). If you want to play lot of games it will save you lot money and space (its easier to store 1tera hdd than 100 dvds) in long run.You can keep cfw on your dvd drive, it has nothing to do with dvd drive, you only need read your dvd drive number(once you have your dvd drive number you are golden) and put it in sd card on xkey pcb.Its around 100 euro or less.

I would say it is safer the cfw, because your not modifying your dvd firmware in anyway. Xkey is an exact replica of the 360 dvd drive. There was an analysis on how cfw and xkey read and send commands when reading topology data the xkey outperformed CFW..... but yeah check out http://k3yforums.com/
