I'm sorry but some of you guys have some nice builds but the fugly case stickers are detracting from the look.

I would post pics of mine but I'll be tearing it down soon to sleeve my system cables so it will be in test bench mode lol sitting on top of my motherboard box with wires everywhere. You can see my specs below though in my sig. I use it for some gaming time to time but it's mostly my video editing beast. Churns out 4 HD videos at once All while I watch youtube videos and browse the net.

    Intel Core i7 2700k @ 3.5 Ghz
XFX Radeon 6950 2GB (will replace with a GTX 680 sometime soon)
    Rosewill 750W HIVE PSU
    32GB RAM @ 1333 Mhz
    2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 64MB
    Asus P8Z77-V LK

I'll probably get an SSD to put UDK, Unity, and 3DS Max on, although tbh I'm in no rush because SSDs are really overrated. I'd rather put that money towards a better GPU or better peripherals. Currently using a Logitech G9x, Microsoft Sidewinder x6, and a Razer Megalodon.

Wouldn't recommend the Megalodon, it's a really nice headset, but the microphone makes it not worth the price point.

Have you ever used a SATA 3 SSD? Far from overrated. For day to day regular usage, perhaps it is. In a laptop though it's a saving grace and in my desktop is perfect for video editing. A 128GB holds all of the compressed .mp4 files I want and I can access them quickly and render edited content quicker than traditional HDDs.

thank god...I was actually going to make this exact thread as soon as I moved into my new apartment next weekend. +rep for doing it before me :p

edit: I'll be sure to post mine soon. Specs and no pics wouldn't do them justice.

I miss my custom build PC, all I have now is this: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...roduct=4228294

Only things different to stock are I swapped out the dvd drive for a samsung running CFW and I've added 2 extra hard drives. It's not a bad machine but the graphics seriously let it down.

Currently bidding on one on ebay, getting pretty desperate because I seriously need one before the new RIFT patch comes in and changes the mnimum required spec. The HD 5670 will be the new minimum gpu and I only have the HD 5450 in there atm. Hopefully I don't get outbid and I'll have a way better card for around 35 but it looks like I'll be outbid before the auction ends

Hmm I'm sure my score used to be higher. Hope my SSD isn't dying.
