Yes, but it's not really worth downloading because it's a very late beta with little to no differences to the retail version.

To be fair there are many differences between Halo 3 Beta and retail, but Epsilion was pretty much the retail build. Some easily spotable differences is the spartan armour textures (looked better in beta), the anti-tank mines that made vehicles fly, weapons ejecting used shells after firing, etc. But i do admit most of which were cosmetic.

Let me clarify this, the Halo 3 Beta was multiplayer only, the Halo 3 Epsilon Beta was both singleplayer and multiplayer, and the halo reach was multiplayer (might have had single player i don't know, didn't play it).

When I boot up the cracked XBE file for Halo 2, it gives me an error saying: Whoa there: You need an active connection to play etc etc. Anyone else have this problem?

Just plug a ethernet cable to your xbox and it should work. ;)

I no this is a noob question, but I feel disabled right now, I haven't used beta files before how do these work exactly? I just downloaded the halo 2 file and the file extension .7.001/2. I feel like it should be a rar file but when I changed the extension it didn't work as well the file seem very small. At only a total of 204 mb I can't see where the game is xD. Sorry, this is probably come sense but that seems to have eluded me.

Use the files just as any jtag rip game.
Download, unrar, and play by launching the .xex or the .xbe. ;)

I can't unrar them, with that file extension every time I try with winrar or 7zip it says the file extension is unknown or damaged.
