*FAQ*
Are these dash updates safe and clean?
These are official MS updates!
Can I somehow damage my 360 with this?
No. Just make sure your read WHOLE THREAD, and you will be fine!
When I updated I got 3RROD and E71. What should I do?
Don't worry, It's a common error when updating your dash. Just unplug your USB from your 360 and restart your console!
Can I use these dash updates for my JTAG?
NO! This updates are NOT for JTAG, if you use them you can say bye-bye to your JTAG!
My avatar doesn't show. What's wrong?
Update your dash to latest version!
I put USB in my 360 but there is no update prompt?
Make sure your USB is FAT32 and update($systemupdate) is placed on root of your USB. Also try restarting console.
What is stock FW?
Stock FW(firmware) is the firmware you had on your 360 drive when you first bought it. With stock FW you are unavailable to boot backup games!
What is AP2.5 and what games are "infected"?
AP 2.5 is anti piracy protection developed by MS which was activated after the Kinect dash! AP checks for burned disc in your console, and if your console fails the challenge the game won't boot and you will be flagged! AP 2.5/2.6 games are: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Fable III, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Halo Reach, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops!
Will skipping the 13146 update also skip the flashing to stock part?
No. If you are going from dashboard older than 13146 to dashboard 13146 or newer your drive WILL be flashed to stock FW!
Can I somehow bypass flashing to stock part?
No.
What is XOR hack?
XOR hack is a hack that allows you to extract your CPU key. It's a necessary part if you want to RGH your console. That means that if you update to dashboard 15572 or newer you wont be able to RGH your console unless you already have your CPU key (there's a workaround in the word but nothing is released yet).
