I dont know really know if macbooks can use all types of RAM so I just want to make sure before I buy it. Also these are 4GB x 1 so can a macbook use a 4gb stick in one slot or is the max 2GB? Here are the potential ones i would get

Kingston 4GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 Laptop Memory Model KVR1333D3S9/4G

G.SKILL 4GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model F3-10600CL9S-4GBSQ

or possibly this 8GB PNY Optima 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory Model MN8192KD3-1066

BTW my macbook is the black macbook from like either late 2008 or early 2009

Go to the Kingston and GSkill sites and use their RAM calculators. Or check out macsales com or ifixit com as they sell RAM for you to upgrade your various Mac products.

What model of macbook do you have? My unibody takes DDR3.
